There are very few things that seem genuinely good value, here they are listed in order:
- Bourbon Biscuits
- Own brand Wheat Biscs
- Greggs Steak Bakes
- Postage Stamps
- Glen Moray Bottle Your Own Whisky
Aroma: The aroma starts with lemon meringue pie – zesty with lemon, sweet with meringue and buttery like digestive biscuits. There are also notes of spice, which feel herbal like spearmint, yet woody and cinnamon like as well.
Taste: A very sweet, gentle start to this whisky that is creamy and sweet – like butter toffee.
Middle notes are like fruity coffee, milk chocolate and somehow still zesty with lemon.
The final notes are full of berries, like a good Ethiopian coffee. They are complemented by a gentle lingering gingery spice.
Real Dram Factor: Such a joyous whisky, full of character and packed with good memories – 8.6
You will like this if: like Tim you enjoy a “banging whisky”
