Aroma: It starts like apple crumble, crisply fruity with a sugary sweet, buttery crumble topping.
Taste: The start of the palate is quiet, honeyed and sweet. There are dried fruit notes, with the sweetness of sultanas.
The middle is a warming, gingery spice that builds on the tongue and drops backwards
The end has a dried fruit finish, still spicy and warming with an oak led dryness that is short, but enjoyable.
Real Dram Factor: 6.5 – It is enjoyable, super drinkable but not mind-blowing. Very similar to the feeling of drinking a very cold bottled beer in the sun.
You will like this if: You are waiting for something more enjoyable to come along. Maybe a holiday, a fun night out or a day adventure.
