On first (third or fourth, but this was the official one) dram of Christmas (Whisky Club Gathering), my true love (Chris, who did the ordering) gave to me (charged me the appropriate amount for the bottle split) one sherried whisky and a partridge in a pear tree (although it looked more like Mac and Cheese).

Aroma: Huge classic liquid Christmas cake vibes – Cinnamon, raisin and ginger.

Taste: The start is sweet, like Demerara sugar – light, sweet and delicate.

The middle is chewy sherry, big spice, almost herbal. Ginger, cinnamon and dark spice.

The end is kola cubes. Sweet, but herbaceous.

Real Dram Factor: 8.7 – Super chewy, but dangerously drinkable.

You will like this if: you think it is still Christmas.

ABV: 57.1%
